Concluded on December 5-7, 2022
The penetration and spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan and the subsequent declaration of a state of emergency, and in some areas of the state of emergency, showed a number of difficulties. Law enforcement officers were at the forefront, who were entrusted with the main burden of ensuring control over compliance with public safety rules. Thousands of police officers were involved in ensuring the state of emergency, who daily patrolled the cities and regions of Kyrgyzstan. Only in the first month after the state of emergency was declared among law enforcement officers, cases of infection accounted for 5% of all cases registered in the country.
The purpose of this workshop was to provide basic biosecurity training for law enforcement officers in the context of COVID-19 in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Main Personnel Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic nominated 30 people - employees of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in this training.
